Terms Used in the Rules

Guest – a natural or legal person who visits the accommodation “Dzintari IR” and receives any of the services provided by the Service Provider.
Service Provider – SIA “Dzintari IR”.
Service – Provision of accommodation services.

General Rules

The internal house rules are published on the website www.dzintariir.lv. By starting to use the Services, the Guest confirms through their actions that they have read and agree to comply with the internal house rules.

The purpose of the rules is to ensure a safe, pleasant, and orderly stay at “Dzintari IR”.

By staying at “Dzintari IR”, the Guest confirms that they have read and agree to these rules.

The hosts may refuse accommodation to persons under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicating substances, or in cases of aggressive behavior.

In the event of damage, the Guest shall compensate losses according to the invoice prepared by the hosts.

The hosts of “Dzintari IR” are not responsible for guests’ lost or forgotten belongings and valuables during the stay.

In accordance with personal data protection requirements, “Dzintari IR” processes personal data as follows: personal data received in guest forms is processed solely for the purpose of providing the Service, accounting, receiving payments from Guests, and preparing reports and statistics. The data is not transferred to third parties except upon a justified written request from authorized state institutions.

Washing vehicles on the property is prohibited.

Number of Guests

Only the number of persons indicated in the reservation is allowed to stay overnight.
Additional guests must be agreed in advance; a fee applies to visitors who come for a visit.

Grill Usage Rules

Guests are asked to bring their own charcoal and lighter fluid. Firewood intended for the fireplace, sauna, and hot tub is not to be used for grilling.

Use of the grill, skewers, and grill grates is free of charge. After use, skewers and grates must be thoroughly cleaned and returned to their designated place.

Trays or bowls must be used when transporting meat and other products. Dripping grease onto paving stones, tables, or floors is not permitted.

Central Heating Fireplace Instructions

Before lighting the fireplace, ashes must be removed and disposed of only in the designated metal bucket (located on the terrace under the stairs), not in trash bags.

If the ashes are warm, the bucket must be placed on the pavement at a safe distance from the house.

At the start of heating, the air supply regulator must be set to the right position (fully open).

For ignition, firelighters, paper, kindling, and a few briquettes may be used. Once the fire has caught, continue heating with firewood.

In the morning, the fireplace must be lit so that the system temperature reaches 60 °C (the thermometer is located on the right side of the fireplace).

When 60 °C is reached, adjust the air supply to the middle position to maintain even burning.

It is not recommended to exceed the necessary temperature or overheat the fireplace.
Do not place excessive amounts of firewood in the fireplace.
Do not place flammable objects near the fireplace.
Children are not allowed to light or maintain the fireplace.

Hot Tub Usage

Children may be near or inside the hot tub only under adult supervision.
Jumping into the hot tub or rocking on its edges is prohibited.
The hot tub must not be heated above 42 °C (thermometer located on the windowsill near tourist information).
Place the lid on the bench when opening; after use, close the lid.
Enter the hot tub only at the designated entry point. Be careful when entering and exiting as the steps may be slippery.
If any damage is noticed, inform the hosts immediately.

Sauna

The sauna may only be used if your health condition allows it. Any health issues resulting from sauna use are the responsibility of the guests themselves.

The sauna must not be overheated above 70 degrees.

To enjoy an authentic sauna experience, scrubs and sauna aromas are allowed (the stones must be covered with the designated towels).

Use of sauna whisks is allowed; after use, please clean the room from leaves.

Parents or responsible persons are responsible for children’s safety and health while using the sauna.

Smoking and Fire Safety

Smoking is allowed only outdoors in designated areas using ashtrays. Smoking inside the accommodation is prohibited (including electronic and disposable cigarettes). The fine for smoking in unauthorized places is 250 EUR.

It is prohibited to bring or store flammable materials inside the accommodation, use personal electric heaters, or devices with an open flame.

In case of fire, call emergency services (112) and notify the Service Provider. Use available fire extinguishers if necessary.

Fireworks are prohibited without prior agreement.
Bonfires are allowed only in designated places using brought firewood or purchased firewood. Bonfires must not be left unattended.

Use of Premises and Inventory

Compensation will be charged for damaged inventory.
Do not move furniture without agreement.

If bed linen or a mattress is heavily soiled, damaged, or urinated on, the guest must immediately inform the hosts. Additional cleaning or replacement fees will apply.

Use of Lights

Before going to sleep, please switch off all lights in rooms and common areas.
If no one is in a room, the lights must be turned off.
When leaving the house or territory, ensure no unnecessary lights are left on.

Waste

Sort waste. When the trash bag is full, please notify the hosts.

Ponds

There are several unfenced ponds on the territory with a maximum depth of 3 meters. The hosts of “Dzintari IR” bear no responsibility for safety in the ponds.

Each guest is fully responsible for their own safety and health, as well as for those in their care, while swimming or staying near the ponds. Persons under 15 years of age may swim only under adult supervision. Please supervise children and adults who cannot swim. Swimming under the influence of intoxicating substances is prohibited.

Check-Out Procedure

Inform the hosts about any damage or incidents.
Check-out time is until 12:00.
Dishes must be washed or placed in the dishwasher, trash put in bags, and lights turned off.

Liability

The hosts of “Dzintari IR” do not assume responsibility for damages, losses, or injuries resulting from guests’ negligence, lack of due attention, carelessness, or failure to follow these rules, including failure to follow host instructions. Each guest is responsible for their own health condition and the supervision and safety of their personal belongings (including vehicles). Guests must refrain from any actions that may endanger their own or others’ life or health.
